These collage and assemblage, layered with images and materials from my own archive, and collections of traditional textile crafts, and doll- making.

I combine all of those images  and materials to interweave situation and design characters that involve both aspects of  everyday life, as well as mythological and literature aspects.

It is a long and slowly process in which I first sculpture the figures and their environment using up- cycled and reclaimed textile materials.

I document this process in photography, and I use those photographs in the collages and assemblages I create. The process of creating those collages involve once again the combination of traditional textile crafts with contemporary materials.

This process enables me to research the figures I have created intuitively; the results are reflected in new layers of work on the photographs, in which the figures are been twisted and distorted once again.
